From time to time, due to our military obligations, we've missed out on some of the "kodak moments" in life. If you could hop into a time machine what is the the one event you would want to attend. For me its my sister's wedding.

OOF! The list is long and distinguished! I've made peace with all those instances by ensuring, through my service (and others like myself) that my family was ABLE to have those moments. I've seen what NOT having a strong, capable and viable military will do to the people of a country. I have no desire to ever see my family go through those kinds of pain.
Be proud of your service and sacrifices.

Most undoubtedly PO1 George Medley. Missing the birth of a child or the marrige of your best friend is trivial in comparison to those that have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. I think most civilians in CONUS get that service members give up a lot by serving however the why we do it I feel often eludes them.

3 Come to mind: brother's first marriage and dad's 4th marriage, both in '93 prior to me PCSing back from Germany and my mom's 3rd marriage in '99 prior to me PCSing back from Korea.

I turned in online paper late at one of my classes for which instructor was not merciful. I got a C for the class getting a ZERO for final, which should've been a high-B or low A. Should've turned in Sunday night before 11:59, the way it was, instead of waiting past midnight, could've pulled it off, still super mad about it!

Yes some time instructors/teachers are just down right nasty. I had just rolled off the table from surgery to repair a ruptured peck. I was 5 minutes late to class but turned in my assignments and then went to sit down. The instructor could see that I was still not with it and told me to go home and get better. Sounded like a great idea so I went home. The guy marked me abscent! As it was a night class attendance was part of your grade. Luckily I still pulled off an A.
