How many promotion points do you need to get on the OML for 68J ALC?

First are you Promotable, second some units place Soldiers at the top of the OML by promotable status date, pt score, weapons card, promotion points away from promotion. There is a lot of information that goes into the OML. I understand that it should be based upon the promotable status date, but a lot of CSM place stipulations on it due to the high importance.

Like I said some CSM's will have their schools NCO's put at the top of the list due to needing less points to get promoted. I have had a CSM that would look at the promotion point trends and and tell the schools NCO if they are with in 50 points of last months cut off and have a PT score of 240 and above with 80 in each event those are who I want to go first, after that we will fill in available seats accordingly. It just depends. That was just for example not exact circumstances.
