Interesting. I didn't see this article first time around.
My first though, from a leadership standpoint, is I'm not sure it was ethical behavior to have a prisoner (or prisoners) sign these cards, and even less so to then profit from it.
Other than that, it would be a very collectible item for someone who would be interested in collecting such things. Wouldn't interest me personally though.

I would argue that it was not only unethical, it is an OPSEC violation and possibly even a violation of the Geneva Conventions to profit from people incarcerated as POWs or combatant detainees.
