Do any psyop reservists know if they do the selection process at AIT (and how long is it)?

My recruiter didn't have a clue and I don't know anyone who is psyops. What will it be like for me at AIT after I finish BCT?

I went through it last year. It is very academic. You will spend most of your hours in the classroom and then in your detachment rooms working on various components of a PSYOP product series.
However, it is still a physically challenging course. You will have two FTX's, the first of which will be entirely focused on warrior tasks and battle drills. The second will be more focused on practicing face to face engagements, briefing commanders, and creating/disseminating products.
The instructors and platoon sergeants are very great and truly do want you to learn. Morning PT is fun and rigorous and you will all love running on Ardennes with the rest of Fort Bragg.
Good luck and have fun. I know there is not much information on PSYOP AIT but you will really enjoy it.
Also, there is no selection and graduation requirements are just a 60 in each event of the APFT. But if you do not meet SOF standards you will attend remedial PT in the afternoons until you meet that standard.

It is a very academic course. However there will still be glimpses of Basic.
