Just finished my trifecta for 2014. Sprint, Super, and the Beast up in Temecula this weekend. Anyone else? How do you guys feel about Spartan Races? Which one is better Spartan Race or Tough Mudder? ( spartan race....duh!!!! )

My unit fields teams for both spartan and tough mudders. My base even hosts our own mud run every year.

I am not personally a team member, but my troop leads the team.

I enjoy the Spartan races and was going to run this weekend in Temecula but injuries kept me from doing it. Kind of glad I didn't with the heat and the way they shortened the race yesterday and cancelled today's.

I find myself to be a spartan racer in perpetual training. I have wanted to do a race for quite some time, before I injured my back I was was training for one in Temecula.

In all honesty from what I know I understand Tough Mudders to be a more difficult race. With those who I know who do them, stating that Spartans are warm-ups for tough mudders.

If I can get my fractured vertebrae to cooperate, I may train for it...

The Spartan Races are more difficult, I've done both and the people who put on Tough Mudder use the Spartans race course but they take out all the elevation change. sounds easier to me....

Well, I will have to take your word on that. Congratulations on finishing your trifecta. Hopefully sometime soon you will see me out there slogging through a Spartan, it is on my list of things to do before I die. In fact it may be what I do just before I die, as in it will probably kill me :)
