If their's one thing that always annoying when moving to a new post is having to find out how things work i.e. housing, assistance, and medical. I think the FRG should have more of a role sponsoring new families. Most times an officer's wife leads the FRG. If the FRG had a full time employee that had most the answers or the RIGHT contacts a lot of planning and direction would go smoother. We have to sponsor new soldiers but families have to most times wade through the swamp of post rules. It would be helpful to have a phone to call or a system to find out how a post runs without running around be told to go see someone else or calling a ten offices to hunt down the right information.

This is a decent answer to some of the problems that exist with the current sponsorship program. However, I think that this can be fixed without throwing large quantities of money at it. Accountability of people with certain jobs pertaining to this needs to be enforced.
