What does the number on the front of the Polish jump wings mean. The picture has a 7 on the jump wings. What does that 7 mean?

Super old post I know, but I was online trying to find polish wings for my uniform and came across this. The Polish Commander today said the number in the front represents the number of jumps the person has.

Thanks for the comment battle.
If you around Fort Bragg, they sell the wings at clothing and sells with a 7 on it.

SSG Brandon Williamson - More than Likely I would say the unit ID. This is what I found on Wiki.
Search this: 1st Independent Parachute Brigade (Poland)
Towards the bottom is shows the different Airborne(Parachutist) units in the Polish Army. This is a copy paste from Wiki. I copied the Last Battalion.
3rd Parachute Battalion CO: Maj. W. Sobocinski
7th Parachute Company
8th Parachute Company
9th Parachute Company
