I am currently active duty and interested in getting started back up. I have done one course with UMUC but would like some input on which college gives a good amount of credits for military education, has flexibility to work with an active duty infantryman, and most importantly is a credible and reputable school. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Reputable is relative and applies to the specific career field. Go with a big name state school or Ivy League if you want overall reputable. Otherwise, look for the rankings on what you specifically want to do. Based on your goals the bachelors is only an entry level degree and won't be enough so you want it done rapidly to allow you to pivot and gain entry to a reputable college for your graduate work.

Agree bachelors degree is entry criteria for many jobs. Getting hired as a Government Civilian at GS12 or above where I worked almost always required a degree to be competitive. In the private sector, a degree may be required for many technical and non-technical positions. Where your degree came from is less important after you have some private or public sector experience. The private sector company I worked for always checked with the school to make sure degrees on the applicant's resume were real. In the public sector, that check was up to me; I checked.

You can also pursue relevant certifications for your career field, but have a goal and work towards what is in support of that goal. I believe that what is a reputable college is very very relative, but of course their are rankings and different accreditation bodies. It is either top tier or most hiring managers are going to assign some value to it or no value. I live in DC though and am heavily biased as this area is super educated and there are a lot of idiots with advanced degrees.

I'm not sure where you are in your post-secondary education, but I'll recommend Webster University, Webster Groves, MO. I have two Masters Degrees from Webster. They gave me graduate credit for my officer PME courses and accepted credits I had earned at Mississippi State. They also offer undergraduate degrees. They do have overseas offices. Troy University has been serving Soldiers all over the world since before online schooling existed. They have a solid reputation beyond the military and offer flexible programs. I did my undergraduate degree through them and my brother has done an online degree through them while serving. They have offices at most education centers on post.
