A threat is a threat. I think a visit from the secret service would do her well. I am not too concerned about her doing anything but she certainly could incite one of her many unstable fans with this sort of rhetoric.

I completely agree. There is a very real possibility of another Hinkley type situation here (for those saying who?, that's the guy that shot Reagan to impress Jodie Foster). Celebrities attract fanatics and Madonna has first hand knowledge of this because of Robert Hoskins. Does she understand that her professed fantasy to blow up the White House could inspire one of these people to actually try it to get some attention and recognition from her? Absolutely. It doesn't matter if she "changed her mind". Her words carry a very real possibility of getting people hurt or killed. Freedom of speech has limitations and those limitations are for a reason. If we go back through history we will find instances of people being jailed for saying much less about Woodrow Wilson and FDR.

I agree Cpl. She made a threat. I don't think she'll follow through with it, but perhaps, some of her insane fans might take up her challenge, and attempt to carry out such a threat. Madonna needs to be taught a lesson. A celeb. status does not give you the right to act so stupid. She needs a visit from the Secret Service.

She needs a short conversation with the FBI and DHS to emphasize how serious such ramblings are taken. No joking in the airport or you will be hauled off. No joking like that on public media or you risk being hauled off. The feds probably recognize her for what she is a harmless washed-up entertainer of mediocre talent.
