For those who have put some miles on their bodies or have been through something traumatic physically or are simply getting older, how do you manage your discomfort? Some folks do nothing, others take over the counter pills and creams, and many others take the hard stuff prescribed by the doc or the VA. How do you manage it?

Let's get real. Some pain puts ya down. The older you get the worse it gets. So, far, I'm still getting up. Creaking, groaning, moaning and griping like I always have.... That's my story and I'm sticking with it....!!!
Somedays it hurts so bad I can't think, hold a conversation that makes any sense or put the car in gear. Other days I'm just a grumpy ba$tard. Hot bath, some ice, motrin out that wazzzoooo and keep on moving....

As a wise person once said, "Getting old ain't for sissies!". Yep, as you get older, you start to feel it more. So far I have been able to manage with good ol' Ranger Candy (Motrin). Gotta give some props to Sgt Packy Flickinger though, Bourbon is good too, especially a quality small batch Bourbon!
