I am a 92Y and just completed my WHCA packet. Can anyone tell me how long it usually takes to hear back? What is the job like for a 92Y?

Thanks. I would love to kind of know what I may be getting myself into. But thanks for your encouragement.

SFC (Join to see) It can take up to a year for the packet sometimes sooner. Being a supply specialist, you would more than likely be put in our Warehouse or even our TSF section. I can't go into to much detail but I do know we are short people so your packet could be done a lot quicker too.

Thanks SPC Boarders. I have heard that WHCA travels quite a bit, is supply included in that travel? SFC Steven Borders -

SFC (Join to see) - It all depends on the directorate. If you become an affiliate to a travel team you might travel a little. But normally the supply section doesn't travel a lot. Now, I don't know about the new administration. He could travel less or more that the current one. I wish I had more info for you, but we really don't know until he takes office.

Simple just keep up with your cage and inventory. I did it every other day almost.

SPC Rhodes I know how to do my job as a Suppy Sargeant. My question was more geared towards daily operations at that location because it is not the same everywhere. I was at CENTCOM and their daily operations were much different from those of a typical unit.
