I've asked this question several times now and still have not received a response...I have never been a Seaman - I have always been a "Fireman" - so why cant I change this on my profile?

FN Mike McCormack - We've taken care of the issue. As you can see, you are now FN McCormack. Sorry for the delay... and thanks for the feedback.
All other sailors can now add SN/CN/AN/FN/HN designations to their profiles as well.

Yes I went from E4 to E6 while in Korea. And if my STAB goes through in October I will be promoted to E7 with a date of rank back dated to 2008.

SSG Robert Burns I don't want to rain on your parade, but I can tell you that the STAB doesn't work the way you think or hope it might! They will not backdate your rank 6 years.

I'm a special case (literally). I have it in writing from the Army Board of Corrections. It says to back date rank and pay and it's addressed to HRC. Long story short is there was a fake NCOER in my record from 08'. It has now been removed and replaced with my real NCOER from that time.

Yeah, this has always annoyed me. The only time I was a Seaman was the 2 months at Great Lakes as an SR, but since, until I made MM3, I was a Fireman, and damn proud of it.

Alas, RP doesn't handle the navy's enlisted rates well. On the other hand, it's the only place I've seen that understands that there's a difference between the Navy's LT bars and the Army's Captain bars.
