Does a conditional release pertain to any other service?

So, I have a conditional realease filled out from all appropriate enlisted and commissioned soldiers in my chain of command that it needs to be signed by. However the active duty Army recruiter who was working on my packet seems to have disappeared. Would I be able to join another branch like the airforce with a conditional release form?

Some corrections to the response. The DD368 is good for 6 months from the date signed by the approving authority or through the date the approving authority put on the form. I has the be signed by the first 06 in the chain of command. Ref UR 601-210 and AR 601-210. Feel free to contact me at my Center and I will contact the area center leader for you. [login to see] .

Get the med pros updates ASAP.pnce enlisted the DD368 can be extended by the approving authority to cover the through your ship date

I am crruently a recruiter for the active and Reserve Army components. On a DD 368, unless a sooner date is written by the approving authority that signed the form, your DD 368 is good for 6 months. If your form states a different service component from the one that you have decided to attempt to process for then you will need a new DD Form 368 that correctly annotates your desired service component.
