It's a natural progression because its members as military we are responsible to teach mentor and guide our lower enlisted. It only seems logical that we would want to continue to do the same for students he can use the same guidance mentoring and education

But everyone's not military material. We can't take everybody to war. Some folks do need to stay behind and run our businesses.

SSG Shavonde Chase - true but there are so many MOS' that do use non "military skills", ie construction, medical, logistics etc. We can (but I don't think we should) take a large amount to war, we did it in both world wars. The college exemption allows the wealthy to mainly exempt them and there families from war and I don't agree with that. I digress on this section of the topic though. I also believe that a lot of veterans that become teachers do so because they miss leading Soldiers.
