I am interested in hearing if anyone has every successfully used the ASK Requisitions section. Generally speaking when I check my requisition availability I receive the message "You currently do not qualify for any open Requisitions". Occasionally a requisition does show up however and for some reason I am still not able to select it. After hitting the select link I am always greeted with a poorly formatted page telling me that there are no longer any open requisitions for the selection I have made. When I then refresh the requisition page the unit I previously had selected is still shown as an option. Why can't I seem to get this to work?
And yes, I am aware that I can attempt to contact my branch manager for re-assignment options however I can never seem to get through with them. Additionally the last time I did get through to them I was promised FT Carson and got orders to FT Campbell within weeks so I am seeking alternative methods.
Has anyone here actually received orders to a location they selected as a requisition or am I just wasting my time?
Thanks for the input.

As it turns out in the years since I have posted this I have found my own answer, with my current assignment being a direct result of an ASK requisition. It was actually pretty easy provided you check frequently as they seem to change daily. Thanks for the input.

Everytime I have ever clicked on the ASK Requisitions, it tells me that I do not qualify for any open requisitions. As for ASK Assignments-- nope that one is a waste of time also. I had better luck calling my Branch Assignment Manager, as an NCO. From what junior enlisted troops tell me, and from personal experience, Branch doesn't want to talk to junior enlisted and tell you as much.
