Since I am self employed, my employer is the greatest at giving me days off.

Sgt Terry Hall - I am the owner of Acme Property Protection. I guard my house like a Bad Boy.
If you need your property protected, I am available. I commonly use a 105 howitzer and claymore antipersonnel mines to keep the kids and cats off of my yard, and yes, you too, can have your own lawn kept free of those 'intruders'.
I also am a DJ, for your house parties.*
*I didn't say that I was a good DJ, now, did I?

Sgt Terry Hall - OK, so just maybe I am retired, and I do all that stuff, because I am bored.

it be nice but employers care more about the bottom line is specially if they are not veterans. It seems like they want you to choose between the military or civilian career when you have both and they should shut the f up and think good things when we go to training or to ask to go to training or if we get mobilized. I was actually happy to get mobilized to get away from my civilian job and to go on active duty for almost 3 years and I start a new career in Canada because of the employer asking me to choose between the Army National Guard or my career.
