How do I know if my unit was given a unit award (Marine Corps)?

I deployed with CLB-6 to Afghanistan in 2013. For most of the deployment, we were actually CLR-2 (only because the regimental CO was in-country; it was a formality). I heard after the deployment that CLR-2 was going to be awarded the Navy Unit Citation and I even heard the Presidential Unit Citation from some sources. A corporal that I deployed with stated that the CO had awarded the NUC to a formation of marines from CLB-6, but much of the battalion was not even present as we were shutting down FOBs all over Helmand Province. I have been trying to figure out where to check to see if we rate any such award, but nobody has been able to help and my chain of command, as always, has not been very forthcoming either. Can anyone help me out?
