Does a regulation exist covering your ETS and deployments?

I'm hoping someone can direct me towards the regulation covering deployment in regard to ETS. I have an ETS date of 09JUN17 but just received orders for my third deployment. I am having some difficulty finding the regulation covering how much time I am allotted to ETS. I always thought that I must be redeployed at least 90 days prior to my ETS, but I have been told different timelines from multiple individuals in my Soldier for Life class today. I will be taking 63 days of transitional leave, and 27 days is not a whole lot of time to get my life straightened out for my ETS. Any help or clarification would be great. Thanks.

Ordinarily, but not when I'm trying to get my life outside the Army together. I've spent my time in Afghanistan.

I don't know about your unit but mine verified everyone's ETS dates and who already had PCS orders as soon as we got deployment orders (patch chart release) to figure out who would be deploying. People were given the opportunity to extend their enlistment to go with us if they chose to. There was an option to extend on the end of the deployment as well for those close to ETS.

I have been very clear with higher that I will not be reenlisting and I have been told that I cannot extend, nor do I want to, but nobody in my CoC seems to actually know when I am supposed to be redeployed so I can ETS. As it stands, my transitional leave date is only about halfway through the deployment.

So trying to find any MILPER on it (HRC site is giving grief) but my SR NCO here says that unless the command is not going to use stop loss, you will do the deployment and have your ETS extended no less than 90 and no more than 120 days after redeployment.

The answer is that you need to contact your branch representative at HRC for the current stop loss/stop move policy. Apparently the truth changes a lot.

CW5 (Join to see) - That's fair. Now I can spend the next week on hold trying to talk to my branch manager! I believe that stop loss is no longer a policy, though.
