I am PCSing to Korea this coming summer, and have no idea about command sponsorship. I have requested a sponser months ago, but still no reply on that, though I have been told it's very hit or miss with that there.
I want to know how to complete my packet and my HR seems a lost overall. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My advice would be to track down a POC in the 65th MED.  You can definitely find a few folks currently in that unit on this site.  You can also look for the 65th MED Unit Page through the 8th Army web page.  That should provide you POCs within their Chain of Command and also their staff sections.  It will be too easy for you to shoot a note through AKO/Enterprise email to them inquiring about your gaining unit and a sponsor.

SGT B, do you know which post in Korea you're PCS'ing to?  If so, let us know here in this thread so we can tighten our shot group in trying to help you out!

I don't have orders in hand yet, it simply states "65th Med. Rep. Bgd. Yongson", Korea. No idea what that means, but I assume I will go to whoever is needed an E-5 or E-6 in country.

Yongsan is your post.  Consider yourself very fortunate.

You can apply for CSP through your current unit and get it approved by your gaining unit before you actually go to Korea.  Talk to your S1 about it.  Also, don't expect a sponsor.

If you haven't been to this site, check it out: http://www.usfk.mil/usfk/hot-topic.usfk.command.sponsorship.program.491
