Is there any way to avoid being selected as a Drone Pilot or an ABM in a AF Rated Officer Board?

I have been trying to become a pilot since 2010. I joined the Marine Corps as a Weather Forecaster in 2013 after not being selected for the Marine OCS route. Was flight contracted though. Now I am on track to be boarded for the Air Force in December. I ABSOLUTLEY DO NOT want to be a drone pilot or an ABM. It would signify me giving up on my dream. Is selection based on test scores or is it random?

Unless it's an absolute given, you could resign, I suspect. Any of the services can and will do with you what it wants. Take it up your chain as high as you can go. The military also admires persistence!!!
