How to Swindle Soldiers | RallyPoint
According to The Washington Post, these three companies: USA Discounters, Freedom Furniture and Electronics, and Military Credit Services, sell goods to service members on credit and then, if they fall behind, go after them in Virginia courts, regardless of where the service members are based. Together the three companies have filed 35,000 lawsuits in a little under a decade. Anybody deal with these companies? Any others we should know about?...

I read this a few days ago; just absolutely disgusting! It seems like you can never talk to your junior service members enough about this stuff; one of them is bound to go down that road. I've also been seeing and hearing about service members racking up credit card debt on plastic surgeries, either for looks or because they're too lazy to get up and go run a few times a week.
