I'm trying to help more veterans find employment with Verizon and would like to know what other Venues do you find useful to hang your resume in addition to:
Linkedin, H2H, Hiring Our Heroes.
Please feel free to download the Hiring our Heroes app powered by Verizon. Its a great tool like Rally point.

http://www.usajobs.gov is a good one
This is a United States Office of Personnel Management website.
USAJOBS is the Federal Government’s official one-stop source for Federal jobs
and employment information.

Totally agree. I have used USA Jobs quite frequently. I got a job with the Feds for awhile and of course, going the continued government route may continue your time and service and give you allotted points for your service, possibly giving you a boost above some civilian applicants.

https://mobcop.army.mil/MOBCOPHome.aspx, go on there, set yourself up and you can look for jobs like ADOS and short tours all over the place. Its based on rank and mos. Good luck. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Tour of Duty. Its all there.

I was a big user of LinkedIn Premium, before I decided to start my own VOB consulting firm. For about $25 per month, you get helpful tools and visibility into job postings.

I am new to the Raleigh, NC area. I am a former business owner, and a business and management consultant. I have 23 years of management experience, supported by a Master's of Science in Management. I have found the job search to be a nightmare here. The available options are the countless 'impersonal' job boards (Indeed, Career Builder, Monster, et al), LinkedIn and Craig's List. I have been searching for a career position OR a 'job for now' since moving here in July. I've checked the 'hire a vet' sites - all redirecting the seeker to Monster.com. My resume is all over the internet. I do not find internet 'job boards' to be helpful in the least. Unfortunately, even the local newspaper has less than ten jobs posted at a time, and the online edition, when the classified section is checked, directs the reader to Monster.com. I have received more 'thanks for applying' responses, however, through LinkedIn, leading me to believe that is the main posting outlet checked by employers. Even the 'Show your Stripes' site, designed for employers to brag about hiring Vets, is a Monster.com tool.
I am of the opinion that the system needs to be scrapped, flushed and started over. It's actually becoming frustrating to not have a 'go-to' site for quality job listings where one might even get a 'thanks for applying' response (outside of LinkedIn, with limited openings advertised).
I would, at this point, suggest constant newspaper advertising, coupled with radio advertisement. Sure they are basic options, but in this day and age, with all of the technology - K.I.S.S. would seem to work the best.
