Honestly, past the 350-1 requirements every unit will have. You're ADA as I am so you'll be hitting those up harder than a senior citizen at the bingo hall.

Start early with trying to max your correspondence courses. I'd look to your senior soldiers who are working towards getting promoted who might know which classes give the best point / time ratio to get that number up there.

You'll need do it anyway because once you're done with SSD1 and you stay current on that 350-1 your first line ought to start hammering you about those hours anyway and you should see it as a magic bullet in your developmental counselings.

Makes you look boss when you look at trying to go to the promotion board / BLC.

EDIT: Never seen a JKO / ALMS or otherwise online course training material that would actually make you "better at your MOS" that's going to come down to just doing your job.

I've found taking courses on Skill Port is far more helpful for mos-related training. While you aren't a 25-series, taking some of their courses could help the most. CompTIA A+ and Network+ are good starts. As well as Cisco basic courses. They are bland, but they teach you how some of your equipment (switches, routers, networks) work, but how to fix and integrate them better.

JKO now has a column stating whether a course is worth DL points. I'd suggest searching words relating to leadership and communication. Otherwise, there's also plenty on Skillport.
