This was real: 1998's COMNAVRESFOR INST 5726.1D DoD Coordinated daily "MARDI GRAS Incident Report" daily. I think it is funny. I was sort of amazed they made an actual instruction for this.

My STORY was just a story of possible things happeing at Mardi Gras that might of made the log book?!

PO3 Aaron Hassay - I am guessing: The author can't spell muskrat or lime - uses long outdated derogatory slang for "typical army wife" - and appears to be way too interested in the affairs of his investigative targets ( with rather obvious names for a drunken sailor & a female companion) liasoning at the hotel? It sounds rather much like an ancient propaganda radio show script. Sandy :)

yes indeed great those seedy radio drama...but never have i heard of that 1...hmm it could be a good 1....typical young arrogant drunken Deck SN on liberty..stumbles into the lonely arms of a "Typical ARmy Wife" who's been alone far to long, 2 lost stars crossing hot and heavy, and some inter-service ombudsmans welcome aboard new command indoctrination develops politely over some whiskey and lima..as if fate had a real meaning... Mardi Gras Dark Dive Hotel Bar, all while unknowingly being carefully cloak and daggered by suspicous looking MP undercover behind dark sunglasses log book in hand pen noting everything under direction of INST 5726.1D at Mardi Gras...the intrigue..the intrigue...gosh Seaman COX--almost reminds me of me...after bootcamp ...darn Navy Boys-living on the wild side--all in all sort of derogatory in a fun kind memorable way
