PFC Pamala (Hall) Foster, one photo shows a table like those I have seen at dining outs and military balls. The other photo shows the narrative, which is generally read aloud.

This is how I am going to set it up. The veterans benefit is going to be beautiful. Just hope I don't cry through the narrative like I did at the Armed Forces Ball I attended last year.

Setting up this memorial at the benefit is going to be a joint branch Labor of love and I know that I will NOT be able to hold the tears back-so what is the protocol/way for not crying during the ceremony?

I just finished 5 years as the local American legion Post Commander. I've done that ceremony many times, Along with funeral services, I choke every time...

Have you referenced the American Legion Post Officers Guide? See pages 45-47

Thank you SFC Fullerton. This is for a Veterans Benefit being held in Orlando on Nov.12. I know that I will be in tears that day and bet anything that I will be leading the ceremony since I am the guest of honor representing Army

You are welcome. It has the script of what you are supposed to say about the POW/MIA table and the symbolism of each item on the table. Good luck
