What does a 31E (Internment/Resettlement Specialist) do in the Reserves? What kind of training does your unit send you to if any? How is ECT?

Also if there are any national guard 31e feel free to chime in as I would assume you all would also be able to answer this question.

GTMO is now almost entirely run by the Reserves and National Guard.
In the reserves, a 31E realistically is only really gonna train on restraints and searches over battle assembly. Most annual trainings are going to be somehow operational, be it a WAREX, or a short tour ( 2 weeks or so) to Leavenworth for OJT. The reserves in general is a struggle for real training because there is usually alot of mandatory things to cram into a drill weekend

SGT Randall is right, GTMO is turning into a NG mission, straying away from AD.
