What is your favorite aspect of the military life? Tax free shopping at the commissary or Exchange? Military discounts everywhere you go?

The aspect I love the most is - Being retired!!

None of the above, it's the camaraderie. Just about everything else can be found in civilian life at better prices. some of my most enjoyable times were spent with my fellow shipmates. The rest is fluff.

I reside in San Antonio...which is labeled "Military Town USA". For the most part they love the military here in Texas. We get treated with respect and we are appreciated. There are discounts most places you go. Free park here and there. Toll roads are free. Jobs are plenty thanks to Vet preference. That is my fav aspect(s).
