What do you want to do? Stay within your degree? Try combat arms, combat support or service support? Wanna fly ... fixed wing or choppers? Really it all depends what you want to do.

Her desire is to stay within her degree and possibly continue in graduate school. She is looking at the military as a possible option for gaining good, practical experience while paying off undergraduate debt. Currently in the Pittsburgh area. Thank you for taking the time to respond.

Kd VanDrie - Ever wonder why the Surgeon General wears a uniform?
One sure way she can stay in the medical science realm is to join U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps (USPHS).

Well for starters, I'd think you'd be looking to commission. That said, I'm sure there's TONS of uses for micro-biology in the military. Best bet maybe is to call an officer recruiter and see what's what. Thank you for choosing to serve us all.

Kd VanDrie Thank you for wanting to serve our country. Type in Micro Biology jobs in the military, and you will find an assortment of links. Below is the link to the Navy Website. With your degree, serving as an officer would be the route to go. Good luck!
