I am PCSing to Fort Hood very soon and was planning on using my motorcycle as my main means of transportation until my vehicle arrives. I have a valid BRC2 card and trying to see how I can transfer that or what the process to get the use the bike while on leave and awaiting to sign in?

WO1 (Join to see) Hey , I see you never got a response to your question. Sorry about that.
Are you at Hood Now? Have you met and spoken to your unit motorcycle mentor?
If you need any assistance with getting up to speed riding at Hood, drop me a PM
Happy to help

WO1 (Join to see) look at your date on your BRC card. There is not a BRC2 card- the BRC course is your basic rider course and you only do it once, it is valid for 1 year. During the year as your skills get better you enroll in the ERC (cruisers or standard) or the MSRC (for sport bikes) course and it is valid for 3 years. Fort Hood has a lot of riders and very strict to ensure riders are in tolerance and have all paper work. Good Luck and enjoy the Great Place.

WO1 (Join to see) it looks like your card is expired as of last month as SFC Cook says they are only good for a year.

When I left Fort Hood, they did not take anyone's other post riding card and required you to take their course, it is easy enough, it may have changed, as all policies do, but they will clearly let you know once arrived.

This is from the website. So it looks like it has changed to BRC2 but if policy states I have to have Ft. Hood MSF card then its too easy to wait. I don't want to be that guy out of regs. Looks like a rental car for the time being.

Any MSF Basic Rider course compleation card is valid as far as post policy is concerned, MSF is nationally certified POI, it's the same class no matter where you take it.
Yes there is a BRC2 course compleation card.... not guessing I filled out four of them yesterday

you can email SFC (Join to see), he is the motorcycle safety guy here at FT Lee but also spent many years at FT Hood and is an avid rider. He is very knowledgeable and will have your answer.
