I sold 30 days of leave, and on my LES it shows up as a LUMP SUM payment, but under the summary section it is taken away under -CR FWD. So my main question is if I should expect that on my next LES or if it comes in the form of a separate payment from DFAS?

I sold back 45 days when I ETS'd back in 1982. Nov 27th was the date so I got that month's pay as well. Got a wad of cash that I could not fold in half.

It was a helluva party in Fayette-Nam that weekend...

I did it when I reenlisted for indefinite because I wasn't going to get anything. So I figured I was going to get something for reenlisting for at least 9 years. It was processed and showed up on my LES but they direct deposited it after finance processed it. Shouldn't take very long if you chose it. You can only sell leave once in your career unless they changed the Reg.

SGM, you are allowed to sell a total of 60 days of leave in your army career.

Can anyone point me to a regulation that confirms this information? Is this under DFAS?
