I got a little therapy in yesterday riding with my CVMA Brothers and Sisters, and then going to the local race track and watching the car races. I even got to do a ride along in one of the stock cars owned by the track owner modified for passengers. Then the track had us bring our bikes out on the track and let us run a few laps!

I was withdrawing from everyone close to me, being abusive to my kids, had suicidal thoughts, going from one job to another, often working two and three jobs at a time, staying awake and refusing to go to sleep, being combative, and inviting my employers out in the street for a toe to toe. Needless to say I was a mess. Doing much better, still stay much to myself, but not as explosive as I once was. Having the support I needed with my wife, veteran friends, and counselors at the VA have been a plus. Forty six years later I am finding my way home.
