1SG (Join to see) Agree, if I had to pick one. The best answer is multiple stories from multiple independent sources, but if you have a 1 channel TV, then it's BBC America.

It is sad that a foreign new agency is more trustworthy than a Domestic News agency......British Journalists still have a moralistic approach, US Journalists have none. Of course there are a few exceptions, but not enough.

All media is biased. Always has been. From the time of heralds and town criers to today, "news" has been used to promote a point of view. That's why I laugh when I hear people attack "Faux News" while clinging to equally biased sources broadcast from all of the networks. Anyone seeking reality must use multiple sources. Like a sculptor, they need to view their subject from all angles, all points of view. Sadly, it's getting hard to find multiple points of view these days, at least among the major sources. "Journalists" are now bred on college campuses where they are all indoctrinated with the same point of view. Ultimately, readers must depend upon common sense to cull out the more obvious lies, those things that don't pass the smell test. And, they must recognize that they too have a point of view that colors their perceptions. As for me, I used news aggregaters to point me at the major stories and then pursue more in depth detail. My favorite aggregater is InkaBinka

I agree sir. Anything less than healthy skepticism when consuming today's media is a prescription to be "spun". Thanks for the referral to InkaBinka. I'll give it a try.

You can find a survey to prove anything you wish, but Capt. Dourish and others are right, none are biased more than each other. If you want unbiased, assuming that you yourself are unbiased, you read and watch everything that you can, and make a decision based on your intelligent research.
