I believe personal branding is important. It's vital to create a clear plan on what you are hoping to achieve. If you want to market (brand) yourself as a leader, then you must clearly define yourself as a leader. Present your stats, i.e. how many personnel have you been responsible for, what has been your progression, have you managed a budget, how much? It's easy to say you’re a leader but branding comes down to having somebody recognize that your product (you) is better than the next. Differentiating yourself from your peer group through specifics will do just that.

I think ACAP is only a fraction of what is needed and soldiers need to take ownership of the huge transition they are making. If were done better, I suspect we would different unemployment, and more importantly less underemployment numbers. My education was my best, and most expensive, investment.
