There are hundreds of VSO's and we can impact Veterans lives. What is a patriotic non profit that you support and why?
I created AmericanWarrior.us because I believed World War II Veterans deserved to see their memorials, which were created 60 years after the end of the war.

I'm an active member of the Blue Star Mothers of America. I also volunteer at the local VA hospital and with Homes for Our Troops. Why? That's tougher to answer. The Blue Stars helped me understand the ins and outs of being an Army mom. So, at first it was to stay busy. Then I saw the need. So, I keep doing it to give back to our Troops.

Military Mother...The absolute hardest job in the Military. My son, is 14 and is striving for West Point. Regardless if he gets into the academy or not, he wants to go AIRBORNE (Making that a family tradition) and then to the Rangers. While I am so very proud that at is age e wants to serve his country and to be a Soldier. As his dad, i worry for im and he is not in the Army yet. I salute every Army mom out there.

I volunteer as an officer in the Civil Air Patrol. I work with the cadet program in our local squadron and as a TAC Officer and the Range Master at the past three Summer Encampments. We have a Cadet Program that is one of the best programs for teenagers I have ever seen. Our squadron has sent Cadets to West Point, the US Air Force Academy, and ROTC with full scholarships.

I fly for them. I don't anything with the Cadet Program other than O-rides. I am in all SM squadron that mostly focuses on SAR/DR flying and the DHS missions. I am a blue polo shirt grey pant guy. Being a reservist, I have enough uniform in my closet, LOL.

Lt Col (Join to see) - Sir, We need every kind of Senior Member that we have. Without pilots like you flying those O Flights, the AE part of my program is not there!

They are fun to do, to get kids interested in aviation. I like flying the older kids more, it is easier to explain stuff. I get two types, though. Some kids are real into flying the plane when I let them have the yoke, others are intimidated to turn the plane. So far I have been lucky that I have zero airsickness incidents ;)
