I have issue with a Federal Agency that decided to subvert the hiring authorities after I was already referred to the job that I was qualified for. I guess if you want to call it discrimination to hire vets, especially disabled veterans then that is your call. However that is honoring the promise of taking care of Veterans....

SPC Delbert Cannoy - Im not actually saying its a bad thing,, and perhaps the vet preference program does not really meet the definition
Discrimination.
Noun; the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex.
but that said, im not sure Discrimination is the right label for vets they do not hire either.. unless it is due to grounds of race, age, or sex.
