Those who served before us won and kept our freedom. What freedom (or aspect of freedom) do you value most?

I'm an old school independent. I believe in carrying guns and smoking in bars. I also believe that the liberal PC crowd and the religious right are doing more to remove our freedoms than anyone in the world. Clowns to the left, jokers to the right....

MSgt Folsom - do you know my politics? The ACA was a conservative plan in the 90s. How do you figure that supporting a republican agenda is now liberal?

Was leaning to the left, before they went after my 2nd amendment rights and freedom to own. To the right a bit seems a little more sane. Although you cant trust many of them, these days!

MSgt Folsom - the problem is that the right has gone WAY right. As I've mentioned, I was a registered republican until 2000 when the GOP started losing its collective mind. Now they simply oppose anything and everything Obama proposes. The Affordable Care Act was originally a republican idea. Same with cap-and-trade. Funny how something can go from a conservative idea to now being called socialism over the course of 10 years.

Pursuit of happiness. Like my father before me and his father before him, I serve in order to allow my son and future children to be able to live whatever dreams they want, to watch them grow up being happy and not have to worry about glass ceilings or oppressive regimes.
