I'd replace speaker of the house Harry Reed. Seems like that guy is doing way too much cover up with regards to presidential agenda and is not giving the legislative body perform internal investigations that it needs.

I would call for immediate resignations of all Current politicians regardless of what party they belong to. I would call for immediate reduction of the salaries these crooks are getting paid, if they are doing their jobs and are actually for the people then they would get paid, if they are just there to fill their pockets and have no regard for the American way of life they will be terminated on the spot. The amount the president makes would be reduced and former presidents would also take a pay reduction, if a disabled vet can survive off what the government pays them, or an active duty service members pay then so can a person who never sees combat and sets in an office somewhere and only reads about our troops in action .

I'd implement term limits for all elected federal government positions. That eliminates all the career politicians.

The only down side that I see here is a high 'turn over' and nothing is done... Improper pass downs, blaming the guys before, 'riding out' your terms, you know, stuff that we do in the service especially when we're due for pcs in the near future. Having veteran politicians may help some with greater appreciation and a humble spirit of earning reelection. Provided they see it that way

Ok so the solution is simple Po1 Dronzin, these so called politicians should be paid what they are worth. Imagine how fast we could pay the nation debt off by reducing the pay of all of them to what they are worth??? Id bet there are thousands of either active duty or former active duty who would agree with this. The problem with the USA today is there is too much greed at the top, money buys the presidency any more and morals and values have gone out the window.
