As I said on another thread, he is a sharp articulate individual. The problem is his youth and vigor would make Hillary look like Obama's Granny.

Not much of a benefit to HRC, he's a Senator with a Republican Governor. If he and HRC win he gets replaced by a Republican--Congress has a 10% approval rating and 90% reelection rate so whoever gets put into that spot will likely stay. What good is getting elected if the legislative body says no to everything? So no help there for her.

New Jersey's Electoral Votes haven't gone to a Republican candidate since 1988 so it isn't as if she needs him to "carry the state".

SGT Jerrold Pesz - Can't agree with you more but the question was" how much of an asset Booker would be to HRC?" The House will likely stay Republican but the Senate could flip...I don't think she wants to guarantee a seat goes to "the other team".

Corey Booker is a Stanford football player with a BA in political science, an MA in sociology, a JD in law from Yale, and was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford, where he earned an honors degree in US history.
He’s been serving in elected politics since 1998—18 years—and he’s been city councilor and mayor of Newark and a US Senator representing New Jersey. He’s been “on the ground” active in causes and justice organizations, and once went on a hunger strike while living downtown in a tent for ten days to call attention to the problem of open air drug dealing. In 2006, the Bloods plotted to assassinate him. While on the council, he lived in the projects.

Booker is a “new democrat,” fiscally conservative yet socially progressive. In 2009, Obama asked him to lead the White House Office of Urban Affairs, but he refused to leave his post in New Jersey.

The NY Times said he should replace Scalia.
