SSG Mark Franzen That one had to be the worst one ever. I remember that one in the dark brown MREs when I first enlisted in the Army.

I was so turned off when MRE'S CAME OUT I ENJOYED THE C RATIONS BEANS And franks were good ham egg chopped.

Two come to mind and unless you came in pre OIF/OEF you probably don't remember...
MRE # 6 - The 4 fingers of death (AKA The Beef Frankfurters) and
MRE # 2 - Corned Beef Hash
Alas. (sigh) These two gastronomic meals are no longer with us.
It's a shame the current generation of America's Finest are missing out on these two.
As far as the best: MRE # 10 - Chili Mac
