Making mention of someone else in discussion thread.

Just curious, I have seen names in bold letters in several discussion threads and I wonder how I go about doing the same thing? Can someone help an old veteran out.

In your text, type an "@" then start typing a person's rank and name. a list will pop up and you select that person. The text will then change to a numeric code and the name in square brackets [...]. when you submit, it changes to a bold name. both of you receive a few extra points when you do this. see the new RP instructions that were just published:

The "tagging" feature is a great idea. It allows you to mention folks in a discussion thread that you think would be interested in the topic of discussion and/or bring something into the discussion.
