So I am actually pretty knowlegable about how things are worn on the ASU/Class A Jacket. One thing that was impossible for myself and my NCOs around the G2 to find out was anything in AR 670-1 or any other regulations that talk about foreign badges and the placement of your RDI when wearing the foreign badges that go between the top of your pocket/above your unit awards. I came to the conclusion that I would wear my RDI the same length above my GAFP-B that I would wear it above my unit awards. Can anybody shed any better information on this problem. Please try to bring factual evidence. BTW I have seen all the google pictures and ended up basing my final decsion of wear off of those pictures mixed with the opinions of the NCOs and few others who were awareded the GAFP-B.

I have been curious about this as well, the other answers weren't helpful.
DA PAM 670-1 para 19-22, page 219:
"On the Army service/dress uniform and the service uniform shirt, males wear the RDI centered 1/8 inch above the top of the pocket flap or 1/4 inch above any unit awards or foreign badges that are worn (see fig 19–136). When the coat lapel obscures the RDI, Soldiers may wear the RDI aligned to the right edge of the unit awards or the nameplate. Wearing the RDI on the service uniform shirt is optional."
Fig. 19-136 is not helpful.
