RP needs a promotional section. Thoughts?

Where users can make military relevant announcements/promotions. While yes, generally speaking promotional announcements are annoying, and having them forced on members isn't a good idea, but a section where people can browse announcements may be a good way to spread valuable information that is otherwise prohibited here.
