I am part of US Army Recruiting Command. We have a form for counseling that covers various topics and to use as a tool to try and see if any of your NCO's are dealing with any issues. This is an acronym called URAC. The URAC brings up suicidal thoughts or other issues that stress them out. This form is optional. I was wondering if something like this has been brought to the convential Army yet?

I've never heard of it but it sounds similar to the SLRRT.

The URAC is nothing more than a check the block in case something happens to a soldier they can say....we asked if there were issues and they said no. And in my opinion it's pretty much the same set of questions you get asked when you do your PHA.

Yes. In fact SSG Woods forgets our old Brigade used to use a similar tool that (then) Col Walker implemented. As for USAREC, this is now a monthly requirement. You may want to check, because I know that our BN and BDE CSMs push this with my 1SG. I don't think that USAREC every really "creates" anything (except the form flow version of the training schedule).
