Do you feel our government is turning against its people?

Not at all. That would require passion, a plan, intent. No, the government is something far worse: apathetic. Governing officials simply do not care about The Big Picture in any way that does not involve them or theirs, directly.

Turning against us? No. I do believe that they haven't had We the People's best interest in mind for a very long time though.
