The unit made it mandatory that every take and pass SSD-1, I had to take a few days off to complete it. I turned the certificate in for pay 7 months ago, and I still haven't gotten paid. I went back in a few months ago and they said I will get paid soon. Should I remain persistent with it?

If your in the reserves or national guard and you are having to jump through hoops to get paid for SSD then you are dealing with shady individuals in your commands. I have never had a problem.

SFC (Join to see) - Yeah, a steady monthly E7 paycheck, or a one timer per fiscal year pay out for SSD. Which woukd you rather have?

SGT (Join to see)
SPC(P) (Join to see) - It's the same for everyone, but some people just ''click'' trough it just to get certificate and they manage to do it quite fast.. For me it took a while, I was actually reading it, and it has some nice information too..
