See the link below I heard there was a class given to the MEDCOM on Fort Knox. http://armypubs.army.mil/epubs/pdf/ad2016_07.pdf

Looking for a power point. If no one has one already, I will likely make one and share.

Also it's not just a Power Point you can create this was a whole class that was created by otsg and had to be approved through legal (it was a brutal 2 weeks learning the material) basically creating your own power point would have you putting out the wrong information and all license medical personnel and command teams have to be trained by 1 June so you trying to put out information you you don't know about will make you look bad in front of your CoC.I suggest get with the 1sg or CDR and sit in on the training when they have to go because its mandatory for them and have the instructors burn you a copy of their slides after you get the training

So the information in the Army Directive is not 100% accurate, because the brief was going to be off of that?

No its off of AR 40-501 and a new AR 40-XX (THAT HASNT BEEN PULISHED YET) The directive is just a bridge between the two

The directive is more of a replacement for chapter 7 of 40-501which is changing

Lol, I have a month before I got to give a briefing on it to my Command. Let the procrastination begin.

I do because I'm one of the instructors of the course. It's not something you can just read through the power point. You have to be registered to use the site and only the instructors with and instructors code can get you access. It is specifically geared towards Commanders and license medical personnel... The 68w portal for it and the class won't be available until October and there will be a JKO class you will have to complete first

Not looking for a brief on how to use the portal looking for a brief based off of the army directive than outlines the changes.

Without going to the training understanding how it applies to compo 2 or 3 (reserve and guard) is impossible. 90% of the questions were how does it apply to them. But like I said it's mandatory for all commanders to do it so if they haven't been trained yet I would advise you and your medics find a commander to sit in on the training with. 85% won't apply to you but it is good info to know.

As far as the changes for medics.... None. There are changes for license providers though which is why it is mandatory for them to go too or they will lose access to write profiles.
