Big woops. You've been suckered.
Buried in good humor is a shred of truth that is just enough to make the story believable. Yes, Gwyneth Paltrow is a narcissistic Hollyweird elitist snob... and as much as it is easy to think she would write something like that, she didn't. That was just a bit over the top, even for her.
SSgt Michael Hacker. You're not the first to be suckered by a satire site. Back in 2013, I too was played.
This is true. I actually was watching MSNBC when Chris Hayes said this:
May 27, 2012 - MSNBC's Chris Hayes: "I'm 'uncomfortable' calling fallen military 'heroes' cause it justifies war."
A year and a half later, I see this reported by "The Daily Currant":
Nov 11, 2013 - MSNBC’s Chris Hayes: "Veterans Day Makes Me Sick"
I bit. It sure seemed plausible given other things that Chris Hayes has said.
Didn't realize that "The Daily Currant" was a satire site. The best way to avoid this is to Google the website to see if it is a satire site... or read some of their other articles.

Twitchy.com has some satire, but the above actually is true.
