Anybody with any general info about being a 25S (Satellite Communication Systems Operator-Maintainer) at Fort Hood?

Just be prepared to learn more about your job at your location that at AIT.
AIT is pretty much a joke nowadays. It just gets your feet wet, where as when you get to your unit you are jumping into the deep end of the pool most of the time.

And.. that would not necessarily garner any help with his request since it is a rare instance where a 25U even has a clue about daily life for a 25S, let alone any experience with where we fit in organizationally.

Considering there are a lot of Uniforms that know quite a bit in the signal field, it does help to tag both.
I have been in 9 years and know a little bit about everything in the signal corp. There are other uniforms in my unit who actually know quite a bit about Sierra work, and also bravos who know about Sierra work, and also JNN work.
