It was great when I went there in 2004. I would like to spend a week there again. The military has a nice resort there called the Hale Koa. The rates are based off of pay grade and the experience is everything you expect from Hawaii. Pearl Harbor is not too far from the hotel either. I thing it took around 20-25 min to get there.

With family as always. I missed it last year since we were deployed. I still want to be at DC some Memorial Day in the future to talk to my kids about the sacrifices of so many Americans. I want them to understand what the meaning is and that it is not just a day off from work.
