Did you run a business towards the end of your service? Did the military provide you tools for success?

I've been running and eBay/Amazon store since I was 13... Recently started a vinyl cutting business and I make an extra $2-$3k a month from it... Had to teach myself everything lol!

I was offered several accounting jobs and turned them down. I did not want to be the guy with a calculator, and pencil protectors in my shirt pocket. Thus I joined the Army. I went from Aviation to Armor, Finance, DSCA, worked with the NG for 2 years, then finally Budget or Comptroller. Life can be ironic.
